We would like to invite you to the " WINERCOST’17 Conference dedicated to " Wind Energy Harvesting: From Aeolian Farms to Cities of the Future , that will be held in University of Coimbra, Portugal on April 20-21, 2017.
WINERCOST’17 will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of different aspects of wind energy harvesting technologies and will address topics as Wind Characteristics and Loads, Structures, Materials and Dynamics, Grid Integration, Operations and Control, Markets, Strategies, Policies and Socio-economics Smart Cities and Environmental Aspects.
Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts of 3 to 5 pages with key figures and references. Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, the methodology, the results and the conclusions of the work. The abstract must include paper title, names, affiliations and contact information of all authors. The language of the conference is English. The prepared material should be in word or pdf format and submitted online through conference website http://www.cmm.pt/WINERCOST17
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee to be included in the scientific program, in the WINERCOST’17 Book of Abstracts.
A number of selected papers from the conference presentations will be invited to be included (after review) in a Special Issue of Journal of Wind Engineering and Industrial Aerodynamics dedicated to urban wind energy harvesting.
